Who We Are
Be Fed Foundation is a nonprofit organization that specializes in community garden projects. We work to harvest produce and ship what we grow to local food banks in need around the Boston, MA area. Our vision is to run multiple gardens around Massachusetts and open our very own food bank one day.
Our Purpose
Our nonprofit's mission and purpose are aligned with ending food insecurity for all throughout Massachusetts. We want to be proactive against homelessness and hunger by aiding food insecurity as soon as a single child, family, or individual like you, experiences it.
Long & Short Term Goals
One Year Goals
For Be Fed's first official year becoming a nonprofit, our primary goals are to build a successful community garden, gather sponsors/volunteers eager to help the vision come to life, and to collect additional donations such as clothing or water that can be separately donated to shelters in need while our project is reaching fruition.
Three Year Goals
For Be Fed's three-year goals we plan on our community garden that was created in year 1, to run successfully and consistently into year 3. By year 3, we plan to raise the amount of produce our garden is harvesting significantly, and will be looking towards a new location to build another garden.

We also plan to have an annual fundraiser the community can participate in to raise donations and funds that will contribute towards maintaining the garden(s) for years to come.
Five Year Goals
For Be Fed's five-year goals we would like to accomplish running two successful community gardens for four consecutive years with a steady progression in how much we produce. While we want to continue expanding into having multiple community gardens, we also would like to start expanding into other helpful sectors other than food insecurity, like building a shelter or food bank.

We plan for our fundraiser to be a success annually, and will be looking towards new events we can hold to keep the community engaged and supportive.
