Who We Are
Be Fed Foundation is a nonprofit organization that specializes in community garden projects. We work to harvest produce and ship what we grow to local food banks in need around the Boston, MA area. Our vision is to run multiple gardens around Massachusetts and open our very own food bank one day.

Our Purpose
Our nonprofit's mission and purpose are aligned with ending food insecurity for all throughout Massachusetts. We want to be proactive against homelessness and hunger by aiding food insecurity as soon as a single child, family, or individual like you, experiences it.

One Year Goals
For Be Fed's first official year becoming a nonprofit, our primary goal was to gather supporters/sponsors and learn the in's and out's of running a successful community garden.

We are happy to have Black Earth Compost, Mission Dispensary, North Shore Bank, and Stop and Shop's blooming for good program, help us achieve our goal, as we distributed over 200+ pounds of produce in year 1.

Three Year Goals
For Be Fed's three-year goals we planned on our community garden to increase its variety of produce distributed. We added peppers, cabbage, carrots, and beets into the mix.

We also wanted to receive better equipment and (with the help of donations) we were able to buy a generator, rent tilling equipment several times throughout the the season, and have better fencing.

Five Year Goals
For Be Fed's five-year goals we would like to continue to expand the garden size and the garden variety. We will be looking toward's a new garden location potentially, and investing more into the community through fundraisers and activities.

After we expand to a few garden locations, we'd look to open our own self-sustaining food pantry.
